Here in Canada, both the CBC and TSN (The Sports
Network; Canada's version of ESPN) are broadacsting live Olympic coverage.
Many Americans who live close to the border, in Buffalo, Detroit, Washington
state, upstate New York, and northern New England (or wherever the CBC is
offered on cable) are watching CBC.
Why don't the BBC come clean: the restrictions
on Real Audio streaming weren't imposed by the IOC, but by NBC and the
billion dollars that they pumped into the IOC's coffers for the US broadcast
rights.
