Recent logs show an improvement in MF
DX.
Finally nailed the het on 1214 yesterday morning at
2005z when audio rose up out of the noise. Turned out to be Arusha listed as
1215 and noted to be in // with 5050kHz.
Also popular Afro music on 1377 - suspect RFA
Tanzania at this time too. 2005z
Last week from North America, outstanding reception
of KERI Wasco California on 1180kHz at 0715. Usually the dominant station here
is Marti. Also DX noted KISA 1540 in Korean carrying the Democratic party
convention from LA !! and on 1660 KRZX, a new one for me, with local news
at 1130z.
And if wonders don't cease a QSL from KQXX 1700
after one year, a KBOR 1600 sticker and form letter with full details and typed
on the bottom was "thankyou for your time and patience - greetings from all the
staff ". This letter had 99 cents air letter rate on it so has the postage gone
up from 60 cents ??
