[HCDX]: Coup attempt in Paraguay.

I just heard the news through a local network (RPP to
be exact). They were relaying a station named Radio
Caritas which is located in Asuncion. As i was
searching for something to listen, i came across them
and starting listening. It seems that some rogue
members of the Paraguaian army has tried to seize
control of the Congress building and some streets in
Asuncion. Even the reporters were a bit confused since
they didn't know if the soldiers patrolling the
streets were loyal or rebels. 
I am doubtful that Radio Nacional del Paraguay might
be covering the events, but i think it's worth the
try.

Dave Kornick asked something about Radio Illimani:
"The Bolivian station on 6025 kHz is probably the
easiest to hear Bolivian over here in Europe. This
station was formerly known as Radio Illimani, but
having listened to it over several hours on 16th &
17th 
May I observed that they have dropped any reference to
"Radio Illimani" 
and consistently ID only as "La Voz de Bolivia".

Incidentally, I could only hear a Brazilian on their
other SW frequency of 4945 kHz, does Illimani/La Voz
de Bolivia still use it?"


Well, as far as i can tell, the Illimani station has
used the slogan "Voz de Bolivia" since it is owned by
the bolivian state. I seldom could hear this st. on
their 60mb freq. It was better heard here in Peru on
their 49mb freq.
