I'm not sure about XERF's schedule, but the slogan is actually "La
Poderosa" ("the powerful") rather than "La Ponderosa" ("the ponderous").
I used to make the same mistake when going through station listings - I
suspect it's a fairly common error for people who watched the Bonanza TV
series when they were young and have the Ponderosa Ranch burned into
their brains.
