Hello David/Helen and Hardcore Group: Congratulations, excellent catch/QSL. Always glad to help. The WFLA E Mail address I posted a few days back is not working, I got it from the stations DJ. I called them today, they are reluctant in give out that info. I talked to the CE, he told me that, Clear Channel Communications/WFLA is absolutely swamped with reports on WFLA/the other 8 stations in the company. He can't see ever clearing that backlog! However, he gave me a name/address for a limited number of reports! So, if you really NEED WFLA FLORIDA QSLed, let me know I'll see what I can do. I have a October 99 report in, but won't be sending a F/U!
I was just talking to another HCDX contributor, the other day about QSLing. I personal think, the Golden Days of QSLing are over. Staff cuts, lack of funds/interest, mail theft, etc. Have really changed QSLing! Those of us in the hobby in the 70's/80's can remember the replies! I can remember 2-3+ QSLs every day of the week, for weeks! I hope this can turn itself around. As always, a pleasure gentlemen!
