[HCDX]: Bolivia Special

Hello again,

in early European spring the best chance of Bolivia -DX on the tropical
bands is from around 22.45 until 00.15 UTC. There is a special
fade-in-window during that period with maximum signals at around 23.30. Last
night I could observe the usual Bolivians as well as some more exotic ones.
I exclusively used the DX-One-antenna.


4732.3  R La Palabra (presumed), Santa Ana de Yacuma, March 24, 2310-2322,
Spanish, religious program; unfortunately the station was blocked by heavy
utility QRM at 2322; on that reason no chance for clear ID.  SINPO  23322

4796.5  R Mallku, Uyuni, March 24, 2300-2310, Spanish, local news, Uyuni
often mentioned, ID.  SINPO  32322

4875  R La Cruz del Sur, La Paz, March 24, 2245-2300, Spanish, news magazine
with phone reports from correspondents, report about ecomonic problems in
Bolivia, excellent signal (S9); in central Europe this station is rarely
audible in that quality. Reception was possible in wide filter position (4
kHz).  SINPO  4 4 3 2 3-4

4991.8  R Animas, Chocaya, March 24/25, 2355-0005, Spanish, sports
information, ID with echo effect at 0000.  SINPO 22322

6105.5  R Panamericana, La Paz, March 24, 2330-2350, Spanish, talk about
songs and singers, LA pop song, time announcement, advertisement, ID;
relatively good reception in USB mode.  SINPO  33323
