[HCDX]: Early morning LA DX

Hello,

Couldn't sleep anymore, so got up and switched on my AOR AR7030. Conditions
towards Latin America were good, with some stations coming in real strong.
Here are my loggings:


COLOMBIA

5019.8, Ecos del Atrato; Quibdo, Sept. 28, 0413-0417, Male talk in Spanish
CARACOL program, lots of jingles and CARACOL IDs. Good in USB, RTTY QRM in
LSB. 34343 (Veldhuis)


DOMINICAN REPUBLIC

4960.1, Radio Villa; Santo Domingo, Sept. 28, 0425-0435, Very nice LA music
with male vocals, a jingle after each song. Many jingles contained IDs. No
announcements heard. I was 'hunting' stations this morning, but stayed here
for 10 minutes because of the nice music. 44344 (Veldhuis)


ECUADOR

4918.9, Radio Quito, Sept. 28, 0420-0424, Spanish ID at tune in, male talk.

FRENCH GUIANA

5054.9, RFO; Matoury, Sept. 28, 0419, Male talk in French, "France Inter"
ID. //162 kHz. LW. 44344 (Veldhuis)


PERU

4975.1, Radio del Pacifico; Lima (presumed), Sept. 28, Non-stop pop ballads.
No IDs or announcements. 24332 (Veldhuis)

4990.9, Radio Ancash; Huaraz (presumed), Sept. 28, 0437, Songs with female
voccals. Weak and noisy, so didn't wait for ID. Some CW-QRM at times. 24232

And let me conclude this message with 2 loggings from yesterday:


COSTA RICA

9725, AWR; Cahuita, Sept. 27, 1046, Presumed them with male talk in Spanish
and songs with female vocals. Very weak and lots of fading. (Veldhuis)

PHILIPPINES

11635, FEBC; Bocaue, Sept. 27, 0926-0947, IS with IDs. Then male speaker
with S/on announcement, including full "Far East Broadcasting Corporation"
ID. Female speaker with news, followed by another female with cheerful "Good
afternoon Asia!" and oldies music (e.g. "I will follow him", and a Bee-Gees
song). All in English. 34344 at first, getting weaker. (Veldhuis)
