Hello All:

I also had an Unid here last week. Here's the log from Cumbre:

6105.02 LA Station, 0953-1022, Standard english pop
oldies, (Pat Boone, Petula Clark), Spanish canned ID's for
"...95.9..." presumed FM outlet.Big carrier, low audio,
better reception off the end of LW would indicate Mexico but
Costa Rica recently listed. Which one? (Mohrmann Sep 6)

R Universidad de Costa Rica has been reported recently though
irregularly. Candela FM in Merida, Mexico has not been logged
in over a year.

Terry Krueger of Florida however reports that R Universidad
has a primarily classical music format. Their FM outlet is also
listed at 96.7 Mhz. Candela FM has been logged in the past with 
mostly english oldies music. There is also an FM outlet in the
Yucutan listed at 95.9 Mhz, perhaps the sister FM station?

This one needs more work, but perhaps what we have here is 
Candela FM tuning up their transmitter for another run?
