Radio Northsea International at 0532 on 1575.4 with 0=3, surpressing
RAI Italy.

0543 transmitter breakdown,
0545 return with "man of action",
0548 transmitter breakdown again,
around 0600 return with news & weather, then fade out.

Maybe the transmitter is in bad condition and it can't be fixed. This
could be an explanation, why some listeners close to the tx site
received no signal, while others more far away get the signal. There
might be periods, where they are off the air due tx problems.

By the way: Caroline on Sat. August 14 did only announce shortwave
5935 kHz and ASTRA Satellite. No mentioning of 1503 kHz
Southend-on-sea. Later in the programme they announced that there are
temporary problems with the 1503 kHz transmitter. Sun. August 15 they
announced 1503 kHz again. It seems, that also Caroline was off the air
on 1503 kHz temporary.
