[HCDX]: external S-meter?

I am looking for a high quality external signal strength meter, giving 
results on a numeric digital display in 1 dB steps. Any suggestions?

The Kneisner+Doering KWZ 30 DSP receiver provides this as a built-in 
standard, but may be there is a slightly cheaper option available ;-)
