I remember a balloon antenna we built some years ago during a DX camp. We
planned a 100 or 150 m vertical - what we got was a quite horizontal
antenna, because of the wind...
To make bad things worse, the balloon disappeared in the sky after a few
minutes...
It was fun, but not really worth the effort. Especially when you take into
account the price for the Helium gas in the balloon.
