Karel,
I remember having read about such antennas in a discussion on
rec.radio.shortwave. I think this wa in 1998. You may try to search their
archive. If I remember correctly, one has to be aware of build up of static
by the friction of the wind. Also there seem to be regulations for maximum
allowable altitudes of kites in relationship to the distance to local
airports.
