A decent morning. CX are on the rise which is very nice indeed! Here are
my logs of this morning from Seaside, OR.

531 KHZ - 2MC - AUSTRALIA, WEST KEMPSEY, very good at 1220 6/25 with tel
talk, man mentioning "The Yanks and the bombing of Yugoslavia" Very good
by that time on top on PI. (PM-OR)

531 KHZ - 1XPI - NZ, AUCKLAND, very good, one of the strongest with
Samoan mx at 1145 UTC 6/25. Caught a very nice ID in EE at 1215 UTC
"Radio 531, PI" (PM-OR)

t549 KHZ -2CR - AUSTRALIA, ORANGE- fair in 550 splash (presumed), light
mx at 1220 6/25. (PM-OR)

550 KHZ - KMVI - HAWAII, WAILUKU, good on top of KOAC with KMVI ment. in
passing at 1221 6/25 (PM-OR)

558 KHZ - RADIO FIJI - Good with Island music and woman in Fijian at
1210 6/25 (PM-OR)

567 KHZ - UNID - Weak station here playing soft inst mx 2YA? at 1156
6/25 (PM-OR)

576 KHZ - UNID - Weak station here mostly buried with RTTY type QRM
right on 576 khz at 1205 UTC 6/25 (PM-OR)

594 KHZ - JOAK - JAPAN, TOKYO, one of 2 JJs hrd this morning at 1148 UTC
6/25, with JJ Pops and woman in JJ (PM-OR)

612 KHZ - 4QR - AUSTRALIA, Brisbane, fair at 1202 UTC 6/25, ABC Nx

621 KHZ - UNID - station w/Concert type mx here, prob Melbourne at 1222
6/25 (PM-OR)

639 KHZ - UNID - odd sounding stringed inst. mx here o what sounded like
talking at 1209 6/25. (PM-OR)

t657 KHZ - 2YC - NZ, WELLINGTON, presumed the source of the soft rel. mx
at 1215 6/25. (PM-OR)

693 KHZ - NZ, SPORT RADIO, good and alone on the channel with "Sport
Radio 540 " relaying the Fl station at 1216 6/25 (PM-OR)

702 KHZ - AUSTRALIA/ NEW ZEALAND, mix of two EE stations here at 1225
6/25, presume these two (PM-OR)

711 KHZ - UNID, weak mx u/KIRO splash at 1207 UTC 6/25 (PM-OR)

729 KHZ - UNID - weak signal here 1207 UTC 6/25 (PM-OR)

738 KHZ - FRO -TAHITI,  has the prize for the strongest DU of the
morning, totally armchair copy with Island mx and woman in FF at 1224
6/25. (PM-OR)

774 KHZ - JOUB - JAPAN, AKITA, good w/man in JJ at 1211 6/25 (PM-OR)

792 KHZ - 4RN - AUSTRALIA, Brisbane, talking about Australia at 1217
6/25 (PM-OR)

864 KHZ - UNID - weak mx station in here at 1223  6/25. (PM-OR)

891 KHZ - AUSTRALIA, ADELAIDE,  5AN ABC, with "Trotting" at 1227,
program ending with  "On your ABC station" 6/25 (PM-OR)

891 KHZ - FIJI,  Radio Fiji 2 w/Hindi pops at 1140 6/25. Good. At that
time no signof 5AN as yet. (PM-OR)

909 KHZ - UNID - station here with music in 910 splash at 1229 6/25.

936 KHZ - AUSTRALIA, BRISBANE (presumed) with talk in 940 splash at 1228
6/25 (PM-OR)

1008 KHZ - AUSTRALIA, BRISBANE - 4TAB, good w/Sports talk at 1226 6/25.

t1017 KHZ - 2KY - AUSTRALIA, SYDNEY, prob the one with the Sports at
1227 6/25 (PM-OR)

1035 KHZ - UNID - NEW ZEALAND, WELLINGTON-prob 2ZB at 1232 6/25 (PM-OR)

1107 KHZ - UNID - weak station in splash at 1204 6/25 (PM-OR)

1629 KHZ -  UNID - Carriers here in 1620-1640 splash at 1235 6/25
(PM-OR)

1665 KHZ - Greek Radio weak at 1231 w/GG talk w/mx in there 6/25 (PM-OR)

1683 KHZ - Weak sounding music, Presume Australia at 1233 6/25 (PM-OR)

1701 KHZ - Weak mx, Prob Radio 1701, Brisbane at 1234 6/25. (PM-OR)

Overall it was the best DU morning I have heard for quite sometime.
Hopefully cx will continue to improve.
