Yes, they sure didn't waste any time in signing off. It now remains to be
seen how long the French station CJBC-860 will be in service. It operates
from the same site (Hornby, about 60 km NW of Toronto on the west side of
the 401).

I wish the same could be said of the now defunct CKTY-1110 here in Sarnia.
The country music station officially closed last Monday, pending  the
opening of a new rock FM station  called K-106.3 on Wednesday. This station
is now being simulcast on 1110 and I wish they'd get off so I can find out
what can be heard underneath! Probably WBT Charlotte NC and others.
