    Patrick,

    I would think that a sample of the "click", properly electronically
    modified, could be applied to your receiver to blank it for the
    duration of the "click." The sampler/driver unit may have to have
    a few adjustments to optimize it according to frequency, but I
    think the answer to you qustion is a qualified "yes".

    Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to design such a unit now,
    but it wouldn't seem to be a very difficult task.
