Perhaps this explains what I heard from here in New Zealand on 10MHz
during Easter this year.
I've put a couple of RealAudio recordings of the mess I heard on 10 MHz onto
my web site at:

(They are the same recording, just different bandwidths).
I can't make any sense out of it, and had written it off as
overloading or some other receiver-induced weirdness.
If anyone can make any sense of the recording I'd really like
to know :-)
