*** COMMENTS ***

"DX is back !"  Now that the snow and bitter cold of the last
few weeks has relented a bit, it's once again possible to do 
some real DXing from sites that "deliver the goods".  Certainly
the South Orleans, MA town landing location qualifies.  Big
gun stations like Morocco-1044, Libya-1251, France-1467, and
Saudi Arabia-1521 start booming in more than an hour before
sunset.  The more interesting DX quickly follows.  By two hours 
after sunset, domestic QRM gets worse and the foreign DX
becomes less exciting.  

The secret is to work that magic sunset-1 hour to sunset+2 
hours window.  Use a cardioid or end-fire directional antenna.  
And, above all, DX from a coastal site whenever possible.
