[HCDX]: K9AY vs. EWE

I checked the pages recommended by Werner Funkenhauser concerning K9AY. On
nordicdx's QST summary there was a reference to an antenna called EWE. What
is that like? Which one is better, K9AY or EWE? Has anyone tried K9AY in
form of four-square arrays? Is it better than deltas?
