Hola a todos:
I have read with interest the announcement about the birth of the Risto's baby. This is a happy moment for him and his wife and I shout WELCOME to life!.
I would like a further comment on this. I will expose the Nordic members though: This is not a DX announcement, is this?. Why to post it here?

I remember with embarrasing that stupid quarrel between purist DXers (most of them from Finland and other Nordic countries) and "human DXers" from other countries saying "thank you" to others, and being hit by those DXers.

I don't think so that Hard-Core DX is better or not due to that "short messages". perhaps would be better to criticize those very long messages in .html code???, or those extense DX bulletins???. Are the bulletins created to be post in a DX E-List, or to be distributed to members?.

So, please, leave that short messages be posted here and go against all those byte rubbish posted every week. Don't forget we are humans and DXers, and if a DXer only eats DX, don't understand nothing!.

I finish with an experience I had this last X'mas, while I was DXing!

"I write this in a beautiful winter foggy morning, more common to see in Northern Spain than in Andalucía, much more to the South. Through my earphones I am listening to one of the Spanish Coastal Stations, sum up 'Chipiona Radio'. Right now, a woman is announcing to his husband, a fisherman on board at any place in the Saharian school, that the little "Lidia" was born two days ago. Her daughter weighted 3kg and 250gr and her eyes are similar to his father's. She, the wife, thinks that the New Year's Meal will celebrate at the fisherman parent's home, and all of them will miss him. Lidia's father will come back to Spain next March!. When Lidia is joyfully sucking her milk, his father is working on a nine meter's high waves rough sea!.

I was trying to identify that new US X-Bander on 1650 kHz broadcasting non-stop instrumental music, but when I tuned on 'Chipiona Radio', a few kHz up, I quickly left Dxing and kept carefully listening to this Spanish family. They, thanks to the radio, and on MW, could say hello themselves and send a 'radioelectric X'mas kiss'.

Serve this message as a opposition to that 'mad' called Saddam and to other, not less mad, called 'Clinton'. Due to their self-worship and selfishness, don't hesitate to spread death and sadness to those children's houses in Irak. Those children with no chance to see their daddies or mummies or even play with them.

My personal tribute to those children from Irak.

Long life to Dxing!, but please, don't forget the human aspect of our radio hobby. Radio is Dxing, but also communication among human beings.

And again, welcome to this baby, expecting to see a new DXer in a few years ahead. Congratulations!
