There is a much better and even more
comprehensive radio control software than Fineware called ERGO.
It will run radio,s such as the NRD, Drake R8
series and the AOR7030.
In addition to the features mentioned for
Fineware, it will also link directly to comprehensive databases such as
Klingenfuss and Bernd Friedewald's ILG. The DXing possibilities when linked to
these huge databases can only be described as awesome!
A most impressive feature of ERGO is that it
displays all the worlds transmitter sites and then displays a greyline map of
your QTH and the TX site you are working with, showing the path. In addition, it
will display a colour graph of the propogation conditions between your QTH and
the station you want to listen to, with MUF and LUF.
