I tuned to 6970 LSB and heard some indication of a signal there.  It
was not strong enough to hear any intelligible audio, but was strong
enough to verify that there was SOMETHING there.

My location is about 10 miles east of Kansas City, Missouri, in the
central part of the U.S.  I'm using a Drake R8A and a Slinky antenna
stretched across the room.
