15184.7 R Africa, 0750 weak signal with syndicated religious program, faded

6110 Sunrise 0709 R, fair signal on new frequency (ex-5850) with usual
commercial program mix of ads and pops. Ormandy Oct 25

15435 R Africa, 2038 new name for foreign service from Tripoli, English
program for approximately 10 minutes in // to 15235 and 15415 and on spur
of 15455
MOLDOVA
7520 R Moldova Int., 0510 strong signal but oh! That transmitter hum!
Underneath, barely distinguishable English program? surely they know about

17310 DZMM Metro Manila, 2309 being relayed by utility station between
traffic, interesting ads in English and Tagalog, including "Eveready
Batteries" and "Johnson's Baby Powder". Ormandy Oct 25

9525 Channel Africa, 0429 in French, heard weakly under Iran (signing-on
in German). Ormandy Oct 25
15215 Channel Africa, 0457 good signal in English at sign-on, into
Portuguese at 0530 and back into English at 0600. Heard with characteristic
fluttery fading. Ormandy Oct 25
TURKEY
21715 UN Radio, 0415 fair in English with "Outlook" program looking towards
UN achievement targets in the 3rd millenium. Ormandy Oct 25
VIETNAM
12020 Voice of Vietnam, 2030 fair-good signal in English with interesting
item on English language schools. Ormandy Oct 25
