[HCDX]: Loggings: Philippines etc.

Greetings from the Arctic!
Here is a preliminary log from Posio (SE Lapland, close to the Polar
Circle) 11.-18.10.1998.  I was there with Tuomas Talka.  We used mainly
two receivers: Icom R71 & Yaesu FRG100 + 4 Beverage antennas 250-1000
metres.  
BTW, this new Yaesu FRG100 is surprisingly sensitive & good receiver
despite low pirce.

Can anyone help me with some mystery stations?

ASIA

738	13.10.	2045	DZRB Quezon City, not DZFM as WRTH claims.
			"PBS Report" & "Aqui Pilipino" etc.  
774	12.10.	1500	DWWW Manila.  WRTH knows nothing about this
			station, however 100% sure legal ID.
			Mentioned Manila as location.  Any info about
			network & address?
864	11.10.	1500	JOXR Naha ex-783 w clear ID, thanks to HCDX
			tip!
882	11.10.	1600	DWIZ Bulacan.  Incorrect address in WRTH,
			stn was sold to Insular BC many years ago.
			QSLed to me recently.  V/s Eric D.G. Taruc
			(abceng@xxxxxxxxxxx) says stn now belongs to
			Aliw Broadcasting Co.  What is this - can't
			find such network from WRTH!  Info?
1026,2	13.10.	2130	DZAM Quezon City, drifted from 1026.  
1160,95	15.10.	1600	DWCM Quezon City nw here ex-1161,3.  WRTH
			country section lists this on 612 kHz but stn
			has been heard w 100% sure ID drifting around
			1161 kHz.  Has QSLed to Finland
			(unfortunately not to me).
1370	16.10.	1345	NR of Laos, possibly Pakse?  Listed on 1370
			kHz in WRTH-1985 and since then on 1350.
			Any info?
1503	12.10.	1341	DYBB Roxas City.  Yes, call sounds really
			like "D-Y-double-B".  Location must be Roxas
			as stn has px named "Roxas City By Night".
1575	16.10.	1312	Far East Network w low power stn's.

PACIFIC

567	16.10.	1315	KGUM Agana w ads. One of my best catches.
1611	15.10.	2000	6GS Wagin, somewhat tentatively.  However,
			format & commercials refer to this stn.  Any 
			info about address?  Stn is not in WRTH.

550	14.10.	1200	KTZN Anchorage, AK.  W ESPN, ex-KENI.
650	13.10.	0905	KENI Anchorage, AK.  Ex-550.
740	16.10.	0715	CBL Toronto, ON. Still here.
880	12.10.	0756	KWIP Dallas, OR.  "Radio Unica"
1080	16.10.	0855	KRLD Dallas, TX.  "Business Morning Show"
1190	15.10.	2301*	WLIB New York, NY.  W s-off.
1330	14.10.	0845	Unid from CA w Portuguese px, sounded like
			religious.  What is this?
1360	14.10.	0900	KKMO Tacoma, WA.  Back w old call.
1400	14.10.	1300	KITZ Silverdale, WA.  Stn reactivated.
1630	14.10.	0722	KCJK Iowa City, IA.
1640	14.10.	0402	KKJY Lake Oswego, OR.
1660	13.10.	0906	KXOL Brigham City, UT.
1660	16.10.	0604	WQSN Kalamazoo, MI.
1660	16.10.	0602	WBAH Elizabeth, NJ.  "Radio Unica"
