Hi Mike,

Start with a toroidal balun of approx 1/2" diameter of Material 43 and wind
35 turns of 28-36 SWG enameled copper wire for the secondary (i.e. the end
which you connect the aerial across) and for the primary (end you connect
your feedline across - e.g. coax) 11 turns of the same wire over the
secondary winding. These windings thanks to an article written by Nick
Hall-Patch and John Bryant... those two know what they are talking about!

I think you could buy these baluns from Cirkit.
