Just back home from Prague last Sept. 26 th evening ! My vacation was
all OK, as weather was very beautiful: sunny, except two rainy days in
Northern Italy, one cloudy day  in Bournemouth - Dorset, England and in
Prague - Czech Rep.... despite all forecast, there was no rain in
England. It was my 9th time I visited UK: 8 times in England since 1974
(in 1978 & 1981, I worked in a  hotel & in an Italian restaurant)  , and
1 in Scotland. I take advantage of fine weather for visiting these nice
Countries, with day and night tours, and meeting  new and old Italian &
English friends of mine, instead of being in front of a SW radio.

Isle of Wight is not far from Bournemouth and, during bright days, it is
visible from the coastline: a stone on the island commemorates the first
radiotelegraphic service, inaugurated by Guglielmo Marconi on January
4th 1898, linking Bournemouth to the Isle of Wight. I believe this
stone, with the wonderful viewpoint in front of it, was my inspiration
point for SW Radiolistening hobby during a visit on June 1984. 

For this TFW issue, I collected the newest Logs and DX News of yours
only. Thanks for continuing  to give your contribution to TFW !  Best
