0809- 4910- AUSTRALIA- VL8T Tennant Creek, 0809, tlk by M and W, but
nothing was noted prior to 0800 when tuning through.  Found it //4835. 
Didn't realize it was VL8T until I found 4835.  4910 QRMed by 4914.43
pres. Cora, and 4835 QRMed by 4831.86 pres. Reloj.  Both Aussie freqs
gone at 0835 recheck. Choppy disturbed signals this morning.  Solar Flux

0824- 2480.25- UNID-  LA  HARMONIC,  0824, Lively LA Pop mx, jingle
(prob. ID) by M w/shooting SFX, definite HC mx at 0833 recheck.  Suspect
this one is Sonorama in Ecuador.  Couldn't copy due to QRM from another
harmonic on 2480.0 in the USA which was running a tlk show but without
callers.  When I returned at 0918, caught a canned ID for W(?)WVQ FM. 
I'm sure of the last 3 ltrs but not the first.  The USA harmonic was
gone by 0928.  Anyone ever hear this USA harmonic??  Other pres. weaker
harmonics on 2459.94 (little audio), and possibly 2440.  (Valko, 25 Sept

0835- 15755- GERMANY- The Overcomer Ministry 8/5 0835 noted with Brother
Stair. Fair to poor signal. (Bueneman, MO, USA) 

0849- 3172.7- UNID- Unid LA R.  , (OA??)  0849, Found OC here at 0845,
then audio was suddenly turned up in mid-pgm at 0849 w/usual soft-spoken
M anncr tlking. Long period of deadair, M again when audio returned at
0857.  No signal was present earlier when I checked around 0835.  Very

0902- 4945.04- BOLIVIA- R. Illimani, 0902-0908, Instru. CP mx, short
canned ID by M and W, instru. CP NA, then full canned ID by alternating
M and W at 0905.  Shouting by M w/women singing briefly and tlk by M in

0918- 6089.95- CHILE- R. Esperanza, 0918-1002, Long tlk by M, hrd one
ment of Fidel Castro.  It didn't sound particularly rel. but there was a
ment of amor once.  Different M w/many ments of Christiano and addr
given followed by mx at 0942 ending the pgm.  Choral mx to 0959 when a W
anncr came  on w/ments of Jesus Christos.  M at 1000, then a new pgm at
1002.  Rel. mx w/tlk by M mentioning "Esperanza Catolica" and
"....sintonia de Esperanza".  Fairly good and slowly fading.  Sounded

0934- 6085.1- UNID- BOLIVIA/TAIWAN??  R. San Gabriel  (fqy var.
6084.35),( presumed), but someone below on 6084.35 playing mx at 0934. 
Brief W anncr, then more mx. Sounds like its Taiwan.  (Valko, USA 25

0947- 5927- BOLIVIA- R. Difusora Mineria (fqy var),  0947-0957, Nothing
hrd when tuning through arnd 0940, but OC was noted on 5926.83 when I
rechecked at 0947. Campo mx popped on at 0948.  The freq then jumped up
to 5927.2 and drifted down slightly while I was tuned in.  Finally got a
short canned ID by W at 0950, a break, then tlk by W anncr to 0952. 
There was apparently dead air from 0952-0953, then more campo mx at
0954.  The signal faded after 0955 but it sounded like a M anncr w/more
occas. mx.  Very weak and extremely lucky to catch the ID!!  Pleased to

by excited M.  A different M anncr at 1001 followed by a W anncr at
1002. then M w/NBC ID bracketed by cowbells as a signature, and into
another feature.  Fair w/QRM from CHU and het from presumed Altura.  (18

0950- 2310- AUSTRALIA- CAAMA R.  Alice Springs at 0950 with US pops and
DJ in EE.  // to Tennant Creek on 2325.  Carrier heard from Katherine on
2485 but little audio   (RIPPEL, VA, USA  9/11)

0958- 4826.31- PERU- Radio Sicuani 0958-1005 Noted music until about the
hour, then a man in long discourse with a woman. Signal was poor and
getting blasted by QRM. (Bolland, USA September 29)

1000- 3172.7- UNID- Unid LA R.,  Been hearing this LA here daily around
1000.  Even though it seems strong enough to ID, the voice audio is
muffled.   Anyone else have any luck IDing this??  (VALKO,  USA for

1002- 4505.1- PERU- Radio Horizonte 1002-1015 Noted a man in steady
Spanish comments. Signal was fair. (Bolland, USA September 29, 1998)

1014- 5025- PERU- R. Quillabamba, 1014-1035, OA Huayno mx w/M anncr
between songs.  TCs, ments of Peru, and sev. quick IDs.  Also ment of
onda corta at 1017 before going back into mx.  Song anmnts as well. 
Fairly good signal and fading quickly by 1030.  No Cuba this day.  Hrd
Quillabamba underneath Cuba the previous day.  (Valko, USA 24 Sept /

1016- 4964.69- UNID LA-  R. San Miguel (Tent)  1016-1035, Campo mx, M
anncr after each song w/long tlk.  Poss. ment of Esperanza once.  A
canned anmnt by a different M at 1025 mentioned a possible town or
Province ?? marca (Cajamarca??).  It was decent at t/in but fading
quickly and hardly there by 1035.  Hrd daily since and only gets
readable when the signal on 4965 fades after 1000.  (Valko, USA Sept 27

huyanos and male anncr. ID across bottom of the hour.   (Rippel, USA

1030- 4904.74- PERU Radio La Oroya 1030-1045 Noted man in Spanish
comments over Huaynos music selections. Lot's of QRM from TTY. Signal
was  poor overall. (Bolland, USA September 29)

1030- 3578.13- UNID- RSPD Maluku Tengah??, All I could get was a fairly
decent het in the 1030-1100 time period.  The signal was easily strong
enough.  If it is the Indo, it must have very low modulation.  Will have
to keep checking this freq.  2410 Enga was fairly good, but lcl QRM was
awful.(UNID.  4929.83, 2320-0040, Nothing but nonstop current Pop mx. 
Not one anmnt noted.  Wevt off arnd 0018 without warning, but returned
abt 0030 as I could hear the nx again.  I believe it stayed on during
that time period but there wasn't any pgming.  Sounded like a European

1145- 7306- PIRATE EUROPE- R.Natalie via Europe (in USB) 10.3 Estonian
mx,ID in EG 23332  (Pecolatto, Italy /Radiorama Pirate News)

1206- 17775- UZBEKISTAN- Radio Tashkent  1206  In English, ID by man and
woman at 1206, "This is Radio Tashkent...". Local music with male vocals
at 1216. ID again by man at 1219, "You are tuned to Radio Tashkent".
Barely readable at times, with deep fading. Slightly lesser but clearer
signal found on parallel 15295. Listeners in Eastern North America
should look for these over the next month as signals should improve for

techno dance music and talk in French //21620, 21685. Fair

1415- 17545- ISRAEL- Reshet Bet 9/24 1415 noted with interview program,
local ads and "Reshet Bet" mention in Hebrew. Good to fair signal.
