initially it was in an even mix with a second station, then 
it got strong and dominant. [Connelly*D-MA]

846   unID (probably SOUTH AFRICA), APR 26 0056 - bits of talk
& obvious SAH in mix with Italy's opera.  Conditions were 
somewhat auroral, so stations north or east of Italy are not

say that this station is really in Western Sahara - does

555   ST. KITTS & NEVIS, ZIZ, Basseterre, APR 26 0101 -
high-spirited soca music; good. [Connelly*D-MA]

750   VENEZUELA, YVKS, Caracas, APR 26 0022 - woman in SS
discussed various organizations within the Venezuelan 
government.  Atop PP-sounding station (likely Belo Horizonte,
Brazil) and a het from Burkina Faso / Canary Islands - 747.

760   BRAZIL, R. Record, ZYH888, Fortaleza, APR 26 0001 -
blasting in with beautiful signal: "Radio Record en Fortaleza"
ID, then some PP talk with slight reverberation. + APR 26 0059 -
still dominant almost an hour later: political speech or 
religious sermon.  Bits of Colombia, Venezuela, & Guyana

780   VENEZUELA, R. Coro, YVMN, Coro, APR 26 0012 - R. Coro 
ID, then fast SS music; good, dominant. [Connelly*D-MA]  
 
860   BRAZIL, APR 26 0010 - two PP talkers here at even 
strength.  These are believed to be C.B.N. (ZYJ459) in Rio 
de Janeiro and R. Cidade (ZYH592) in Maracanau-Fortaleza.

ID "Ocho Ochente, Mundial !"; loud, demolishing WCBS.

reverberated PP talk, possibly sports coverage; under phaser-

fed US-produced religious programming; dominant over domestics
during auroral conditions. [Connelly*D-MA]

1375   ST. PIERRE ET MIQUELON, RFO, APR 26 0032 - US rock

1505   ANGUILLA, R. Anguilla, The Valley, APR 26 0036 -
