[HCDX]: WANN 1190 Is back on the air.

WANN 1190 Annapolis is back on the air.

1190 WANN MD, Annapolis. Running a feed from WUST 1120 Washington DC 
on 1/9 1359-1401. Heard McDonalds ad in Spanish and ID "The 
Multi-cultural voice of the nation's capitol. AM 1120 WUST 
Washington. AM 1190 WANN Annapolis." This was followed by a separate 
local ID.  Carrier cut at 1401.

I phoned the station to see what is going on.  According to the 
station owner, Mr. M. Blum the station is being sold to "New World 
Radio." Mr. Blum revealed that the station is currently on the 
air with "limited daytime" to keep its license, which in January is 
0730-1400. An application for night-time operation has been applied 
for.  Mr. Blum welcomes correct reception reports for which he will 
verify with a QSL card. The address is WANN, PO Box 631, Annapolis, 
MD 21404. No indication of a call letter change, which might come 
after the station sale is finalized.
