I'm new to this listserv, so I hope this is relevant.  Very strong station
on 3976.05 kHz this morning (1350 October 8 UTC), with gamelan music (my
location is near Seattle). I assume this is RRI Pontianak Kalimantan, but
it sounds stronger than the 1 kw ascribed to it in the 1997 Passport.
Instead of the Song of the Coconut Islands interval signal, played a
5-note IS at 1359 to 1400, followed by news in what sounded like
indonesian.  I use an NRD-535 with a 50 ft random longwire.
