LA Pops and ballads w/canned IDs by M mainly in SP, but also in EG, and
I think once by a W in FR.  Every ID sounded different than the
preceeding ones. "....Transmite XERTA radio emisore internacional en
onda corta radial, con 50 kilovatios de potencia la banda de 60 metros,
canal 4800 kilohertz", "....XERTA, Radio Transcontinental en onda corta
en la banda internacional de 60 metros,kilohertz.  XERTA por estudios de
Latino Americana....XERTA la voz de onda corta", "Blue skies(?)XERTA
radio, transmitting to the United States, Canada, Central and South
America ".  Strong signal but modulationed sounded a somewhat low.  Of

music, some announcements, very nice ID atop the hour at 0100. Excerpt

suspect this with sub-continental vocal suddenly starting up (no AIR
IS), slightly over very weak Angolan R. Nacional announcer (// 7244.95).
Vocal ran to 0100:25 when talk began but then almost immediate fadeout,
approx 20 minutes after xmtr SR. Sringar listed *0055 until winter when

concurrently on USB, somewhat weaker, with ballads such as 'Spanish
Eyes' at 0452, time signal at 0500 but did not catch ID. ---CLARK, ONT

concluding the DX Special with QSL addresses in Forli and Indianapolis.
Broadcast concluded with instrumental music theme for about a minute
