[HCDX]: NEWS: N Korean Soldier Radio

NORTH KOREA

The Frontline Soldiers Radio on 3025v kHz was heard 1700-1800 UTC Sept 30
(SIO 443) with strong spurs on 3013v and 3037v kHz (i.e. approx. 12 kHz
below & above). Signals are nearly as good as 3025, but audio is badly
distorted.

Transmissions on the two shortwave frequencies have become irregular again
since early September. 2625v and 3025v kHz are off the air 2-3 days per
week. 1613v is on almost every day. All 1400-1900 with separate programs in
Korean.
