 940  CBM, Montreal PQ, 0400, Blues at 0315 with male in English. At
 0400: ''Here's the CBC news''. Weak. (Aug 24).
 950  CKNB, Campbellton NB, 0255, ''95 CKNB.....'' in noise. Weak.
 (Aug 24).
1050  CHUM, Toronto ON, 0442, ''You've lost that lovin' feelin'', phone-in
 about 40th wedding anniversaries. Difficult in slop 1053 Talk Radio UK
 (500 kW). Tentative. Weak. (Aug 24).

INDIA
1566 All India Radio, Nagpur, 0000-0045, Female vocalist accompanied
 by subtly playing orchestra. Signal mixing with Iran but slightly dominant.
 Programme announcements in English at 0025 (approx.) and weak ID:
''You're listening to All India Radio'', TC at 0030, followed by news in ver-
 nacular. Quickly fading by then. Good peaks. (Aug 23).

IRAN
1566 IRIB 1, Bandar Abbas, 0000-0045, Male in Farsi, followed by Koranic
 chants, signal mixing with India. Good signal at 0035 with AIR fading away.
 Presumed. (Aug 23).

USA
 660 WFAN, New York NY, 0430, Ad for the ''Hair Club''. ID: ''You're tuned
 to WFAN, Sportsradio 66''. Poor. (Aug 24).
 880 WCBS, New York NY, 0432, Several IDs in slop 882 Wales. Very poor.
 (Aug 24).
1030 WBZ, Boston MA, 0438, Phone-in, ID. Used 4.5 filter. Fair peak. (Aug 24).
1120 UNID, 0445, nostalgia, standards, fair peak. KMOX, St. Louis MO? News/
 talk format according to ''AM Radio Log''. Anyway, identified this one before.

1560 WQEW, New York NY, 0420, Out of the blue and out of the noise: "15-60
 WQEW''. Brook Benton crooning ''Blue moon'' very nicely. Poor. (Aug 24).

VENEZUELA
1020 YVRS Mundial Margarita, La Asuncion, 0430, Noted ID when tuning to
 frequency. LA music. A bit of DX-ers luck I guess. Poor. Underneath and also
on Aug 24 on this frequency, a US accented preacher. Turks & Caicos come to
my mind. (Aug 23).
