CLANDESTINE ASIA (RUSSIA)

A test transmission followed Radio Free Asia's Korean transmission
1530-1630 on June 20 on 5855 kHz (via Russia), and continued until 1651.
Recorded announcement was repeated over and over in English (male) and
Russian (female): "This is channel 3, RFA program channel 3. This is
channel 3, RFA program channel 3. Eto 3 kanal, 3 kanal peredachu Radio
Svobodnaya Aziya. Eto 3 kanal, 3 kanal peredachu Radio Svobodnaya Asia."
This test was heard only on this frequency. SIO 444. Jamming from North
Korea stops at 1629.
