Hola amigos,
Here some contributions for your e-mail bulletin. As you know I do
like High bands and they start to have "strange behaviours". Gear was:
ICOM R71-A Receiver w/YAESU FRT-7700 and DX Ultra antenna (inverted v)

VATICANO
21850 RADIO VATICANA Sta Maria 11:10. Not very good reception with
Holy Mass. Still a noisy transmission here. (JGarzón, 23mar)

GABÓN/JAPAN
21700 RADIO JAPAN Moyabi 11:20. Very good signal coming from Gabon
relay. Listener's corner in Italian language (Dialogo con il
mondo).s/off at 11:30. (JGarzon, 23mar)

ASCENSION ISLAND
21660 BBC-WS Atlantic Relay 12:50. Special progam with a "radio
drama" in English. at 13:00 the News and signal improves
significantly (change of antenna patter or more power?). This is the
English service to Africa. (JGarzon, 23mar)

PORTUGAL
21655 RDP Sines.  At 13:15 Portuguese program to Guinea and Cabo Verde. Very
faint signal (SIO/221) w/splatter from BBC Ascension on 21660. Female
talking in Portuguese with listeners via phone calls. Sines transmitter is
only at 500 km and I am on the way of the signal but is hard to

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES
21605 UAE RADIO AND TV Dubai. Undoubtely the best signal on the band.
SIO 444 with some fading but only sometimes. Alterning very stable periods with
others where fading was quite noticeably. Opens at 14:00 its Arabic

21630 VOICE OF THE UAE Abu Dhabi. Faint signal at 13:23 in //13605.
Arabic chants and phone conversation with listeners. Impressive
fading in all the 13m band, but here much more evident. (JGarzon, 23mar)

FRANCE
21580 RADIO FRANCE INT Issoudun. //21620, //21685. At 15:04 news in French with an
extremely faint signal, but a curious effect was the existence of some burst
 (a couple of seconds each) that put the signal on 333 instead of
141. It was like metteor-scatter propagation on VHF bands. High bands
are changing minute by minute. (JGarzon, 23mar)

ESPAÑA
21570 RADIO EXTERIOR DE ESPAÑA Noblejas. A new frequency not listed
in WRTVH. Spanish program with REE News. Very noisy and strong fading
although is possibly hear it every minute. SIO/222. Full id at 13:59
with musical jingle and female voice "Radio Exterior de España".

ITALIA
21535 RAI Rome. At 14:06 soccer transmission with frantic comments
by two males and a girl. This is the italian service to Europe, Africa and America
(Huge goal, isn't it?). Signal was SIO/232 but always fading present here.

CYPRUS
21490 BBC WS Mediterranean Relay. "Radio English Direct" program in
English, then slow English tale by radio. At 14:16 an UNID CW signal
appears but only for half a minute. One of the best signal on the 13m
band but SIO/344, fading less noticeable here due to power?, or is
there an East-West path working better than North-South one?
