Your UNID stn on 1550 sounds to me like CBE Windsor, Ontario, as you 
suspected. The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation rebroadcasts programs 
from the BBC, Radio Australia, Radio Netherlands, etc on it's overnight 
service after midnight local time. I don't know if the BBC is in the 0600 
UTC slot, but if they are, then you most likely heard CBE.
