What's on with Radio Uganda ?

Yesterday evening, I logged Radio Uganda on old 4,97598 MHz.
I checked in at 1933 with E nx read by a female with a heavy african accent.
Played local mx and talked abt women. at re-check 2100, national anthem and
s/off; SIO 344. No formal ID thoughat 2100, but that's quite normal.

At 5,02601, another Ugandan freq, carried a Vernacular program. Suffered QRM
from 5025, best in USB. Different px than 4976. The tx signed off at 2100,
also w/ an anthem. I'm not sure if it was Uganda. But, who else ? SIO 322.
Did someone heard this also ? Just at that freq, I have local QRM.

At the same time, at 3,34012 I logged an open carrier. Not for the first
time his year, I remember. But then, 4976 wasn't there and 5026 either.


Equipment: 12 metres wire with balun from RF-Systems, JRC NRD-525 and JPS ANC-4.
QTH: Huissen (near Arnhem): N51.57 E005.56
