** DXING MADAGASCAR - an in-depth study of the historical development of Madagascar, with particular emphasis on current shortwave radio broadcasting in the Republic.
The Guide is 32 pages A4 format, professionally printed and bound, and the data has been compiled from information received directly from broadcasters, transmission planners, frequency coordinators, DX Clubs, DXing Federations, monitoring consultants, technical correspondents, and expert monitors worldwide.
The Guide is a special publication sponsored by the Electronic DX Press Australia, and is a non-commercial, non-profit venture. It's edited by Bob Padula, a professional communications engineer of some 30 years standing, with over 40 years of experience in international broadcast monitoring and the administration of DX hobby groups. Editorial and marketing support has been provided by Mick Ogrizek, himself an international broadcast monitor with some 16 years of involvement with DX club management.
This Guide is being offered as a special service to the radio hobby community, and will be of interest to all persons with an interest in international shortwave broadcasting. Whilst intended mainly for listeners in Australia, Asia, the Far East and the Pacific, it will also have topical application to readers in other parts of the world. It is updated to 1 December 1996.
